“A really quick way to update your look from day to night is by adding an eye-catching red lip,” says make-up artist, Cassie Steward. “Draw a neat line with a fine-tipped lip liner, then fill in with your choice of red. A deeper burgundy will give you a bit of old school glamour.”

“A bright pink lip isn’t for everyone, but if you want to try something a bit more out there, it can pay off,” says Cassie. “I wouldn’t recommend a fuchsia if you have red tones in your skin, but on olive and darker tones it looks amazing.”
